Fall Soccer

I love coaching this goofy girl's soccer team! She has a smile pasted on her face whenever she is in the ridiculous fray that is bunch-ball rec soccer. She constantly laughs with delight, thoroughly enjoying the experience with her very non-competitive cheerfulness. Although her kick is fairly weak, she is a fantastic defender and has a natural sense of where to place herself to halt the opposing team's offense. On our last game on Saturday she blocked somewhere around 25 attempted shots. It got to the point that even the opposing team's parents were cheering in delight each time she tallied another block, giving her the nickname of "The Wall" and even calling her the "Scott Sterling" (think Studio C) of U-8 soccer! I love that she manages to bring happiness wherever she goes - she ever remains our Sunshine Baby!
