R.I.P.

On Friday, October 14, Darrell Roderick Adams, our beloved beta fish and devoted pet for the past 2 years passed away and floated on to clear waters.  Darrell entered our family, a spry and spunky little fry, as a 2-month anniversary gift back in August of 2009.  His neglectful parents forgot about him on more than one occasion and would return home after a weekend out of town to find him in a frozen comatose state, yet somehow he managed to snap out of it each time - what a fighter!  He will be sorely missed.

And now, to share the same sentiments that my sister Chelsea expressed over 10 years ago at the backyard burial of our fish, Mr. Mustache.  *Ahem*
