Ward Camp Out

We had our Ward Camp Out at Pine Valley on Friday, September 10 with a "Pioneers Now and Then" theme.  Not much to say about it except that we enjoyed spending some time up the beautiful mountains with our neighbors and friends.  Burke was enlisted to play as background music during the dinner with a few other talented musicians in our ward; Sister Miner, Brother Allred (award winning fiddler!) and one of our Laurels, Annalise Paul.  They sounded terrific and brought a fun atmosphere to the event with their bluegrass sound.  There were a series of skits and Burke closed the program by leading the ward in a few guitar classics like "Home on the Range" and "Spring Time in the Rockies."  You can tell he was really excited about all this, can't you?
