Count Your Blessings (Chronologically)
1. October 2008: Emily Ann Bush is introduced to Alan Burke Adams. They talk incessantly on the phone for a month.
2. December 2008: The two mutually fall in love.
3. January 2009: Burke takes the GMAT and doesn't do so hot. Begins to study for attempt #2.
4. March 27, 2009: Burke proposes in style on a tractor at Zollingers Tree Farm.
7. August 2009: Emily gets a great job. Rex (our Toyota) is bought for an incredible deal. Burke and Emily start school. Darryll (the Beta Fish) becomes the first addition to the family. Burke finds out that SUU is offering a semester in Paris where you can earn a double masters degree and spend 2 months abroad (suddenly the bad GMAT score and move to southern Utah makes sense). The penny pinching begins.
8. October 2009: Burke and Emily get new callings in Primary and Young Women's and LOVE them.
9. December 2009: Burke and Emily get 4.0's for the semester. Christmas with the Adams family = immense generosity from both sides of the family.
10. January 2010: The Ridings offer the Adams family a place to live at the end of April/start of May to help save a month of rent. Issac and Lyndee offer their garage for storage. Emily finds out her employers will hold her job for the 2 months they are gone. Burke finds out his employers will not. Emily begins visiting teaching a woman who grew up in Paris.
11. February 2010: Emily gets accepted to the Secondary Education program for the Fall. Burke drives motorcycles at work. :) Emily begins to collect moving boxes from work. A couple in the ward offers an apartment as a potential way to get back into the ward when they return from Paris.
12. April 2010: The landlords of their apartment complex offer a month free rent if Burke and Emily come back to the apartment after their trip - they accept. No more boxing up the apartment! BURKE GETS OFFERED A JOB!!!
Isn't it amazing to look back and see the marvelous way the Lord leads us down life's road so perfectly both then....
...and now.

6. June 6, 2009: Burke and Emily are sealed for time and all eternity in the Logan temple.
