Quack Quack!

Over General Conference weekend, we joined the Adams family in Parowan.  It was a lovely, uplifting conference with messages that struck straight to my heart, like being an example to our children of a loving, unified marriage (Elaine Dalton - "Love Her Mother").

In between conference sessions on Sunday, we took a walk to a pond a couple of blocks away to feed the ducks.  It wasn't until we were actually at the pond that I realized besides Aunt Ava's pooch, Iggy, and our friends, The Burr's Yorkie, Zoey, Daphne has never seen live animals.  As we started tossing bread chunks, two intimidating geese rushed the cluster of munching duckies and started honking and snapping at the bread...and it freaked Daphne out!

She was hollering at these geese with this totally panicked cry/shout!  After a couple of minutes staring at these foreign creatures, she calmed down, but kept "oooing" at them every thirty seconds or so.

It was pretty darling and as always, I was so happy to see my wonderful husband doting on his daughter.  It's going to be so fun to continue to see their relationship grow.
