Early Morning Birthday

Daphne Marie is one year old today.  It's bizarre to think at this exact moment a year ago I was still pushing, still hoping against hope that I could get her to come normally.  In about 10 minutes the doctors would tell me it was time for an emergency C-section and at 8:55 she entered the world without a sound, staring around in awe with those huge gorgeous eyes at her new home.  And I have been in awe of her every since.
