Date #34: Dinner with the Burrs

Every time we go to St. George I feel like we have a mile long "To-Do" list and we never get everything done or see all the people we want to.  Saturday after the dog attack we:

1) Drove the 30 minutes up to San Gorgito
2) Went to the bank
3) Dropped Daphne with Chev and Nellie who graciously watched her for us while we
4) Attended a session at the temple and then
5) Picked up Daph and visited for a few minutes
6) Dropped off some stuff at Cath's and visited for a minute
7) Knocked on the Ridings door and thought they weren't home (ended up they were downstairs doing laundry!)
8) Dropped off a few bags of donations at the D.I.
9) Went to Sportman's Warehouse where I stayed in the car while Daphne snoozed and Burke went in to buy some pepper spray as a result of said dog attack
10) Did our grocery shopping at Costco
11) And finally drove back across town to have dinner with the Kade and Brandalee Burr and play with their adorable boys Brekken and Paxon.  It has been way too long since we've seen these guys.  They are such as a fun couple and we have so much in common with them.  I love that Daphne can actually play with the boys now and it is so fun to see how similar she and Paxon are (he was born 5 days after her) from their mischievous sides to their curiosity.  Such a fun stage they are in.  It's a bit weird to have to leave now when our baby gets cranky however.  We used to love to stay up late chatting with our friends or playing games after dinners like this, but the Daphodil was through so we had to call it a night and make the drive home.

So just know, all our wonderful old St. George friends and neighbors, we have not forgotten you!  There are so many times we wish we had 15 extra minutes to stop by and visit with this family or that one.  One of these Saturdays we need to just go up solely for the purpose to make visits all around town, but until then please know we're thinking of you!
