We're Live at CNM!

Remember how I mentioned the past month has been crazy busy for us?  Well today I am really excited to introduce you to Capital Network Magazine, an online magazine for entrepreneurs and startups that we have been spending most of our free time working on over the past few weeks.

Several months ago our friend Ever Gonzalez approached us about joining him on making his brain child a reality.  He and his wonderful wife Kelsey get all the credit for the idea and 95% of the work.  The goal for this site is to create a forum for founders, investors, business owners, etc., to come together and share what has and has not worked for them.  We'd like to help people to be able to network on the site and gain the tools needed to succeed in their own business ventures.

Initially, Ever thought it would be fun to tailor the site to Utahans, but after reaching out to a few big-name companies and having such positive responses, we realized that with the internet functioning the way it does now, there really is no reason we can't try this out on a global scale.  It has been so exciting to send out queries to super successful people to ask if they would like to be interviewed for the magazine and to get kind, positive responses in return!  I've learned quite a bit in the past month as I've worked as a researcher/editor for the project and read all the interview responses coming in.  There are so many bright, creative, hard-working people in the world with fantastic insights.  I also love the diversity that it exposes me to as we've now interviewed entrepreneurs from Romania, the UK, Canada, Italy, Australia and all over the U.S. with loads more on our list that we intend to reach out to in the next few weeks.

Although Ever has successfully started a couple of businesses on his own, Burke and I have never done anything like this before and it has already been a terrific learning experience.  As this is our first day with the website being live, Ever called at noon and said we'd already had over 1500 hits with about 125 unique hits!

Go check it out and give us some feedback.  I'd love to hear if there is anything you think could be improved about the site.  Do you know any sweet entrepreneurs/business owners you think would like to be interviewed?
