Time with the Riding Family

Another portion of the weekend was spent with the Riding family, the Kirby family, my parents, Grandma Ellsworth, and Tasha.  It was so heart warming to see the cousins getting along so perfectly with private dance numbers from Lydia and Kaleolani as well as watching Emmett and Gideon (Thing One and Thing Two) run around attached at the hip.  Those little fellas managed to pull off all the apricots on Dan's tree in the few minutes no one was watching!  On Saturday night we all drove over to Lydia's dance recital.  I love watching them dance at this age where they spend half the number staring at each other to remember the next move and the other half being distracted by everyone in the audience.  Very cute!

I love this candid photo of the fan club congratulating Lydia after the show.  Zakia was especially sweet and came up to Lydia saying, "Lydia, I can tell you worked really hard to learn those dances.  Good job."

I also love this picture of Dan with two passed out babies.  All of Emmett and Gideon's playing had finally caught up with him!

On Sunday we had the very special opportunity to join the Ridings at their ward for the baby blessing of little Amelia Christine Riding.  She looked so precious and tiny ringed by her Uncles, Grandpas and Father, joined together in Priesthood power and love for this brand new infant.  She is such a sweet baby and Burke and I feel lucky to be staying in St. George to watch her develop and grow in the months to come.

Congratulations Ridings on your beautiful little Millie!
