Just Like Them

On our way home from Parowan this last Monday we were surprised by a phone call from Richard Shurtleff letting us know that he and Elaine were in St. George and wanted to get together.  This is the amazing couple who saved our bacon in Paris by letting us live with them for our last 2 weeks when our housing arrangements fell through.  We were so excited to get together with them and so honored that they would call us during their limited time in the states.  Dinner was delicious, but there company was even better (didn't take pictures - shoot).  I could have talked with them for 10 more hours!  They always make us feel so special, loved and uplifted.  They are quite possibly the most generous and kind people I know.  I want to be just like the Shurtleff's when I grow up!
